This film is truly lacking in character development. all the characters in the movie are SO shallow, and lacking in their reasoning that it is almost impossible to relate to any decision they make. not to mention the truly unnecessary nudity of the supposedly underage girls, which adds absolutely nothing to the plot. this movie makes the teenage girls of 80s seem like all they ever desire is to seduce boys and get laid. even spicoli, who was supposed to be very funny and all is truly lacking as a human character. and lastly, how is this movie a comedy? besides a few scenes, the movie was way too dramatic. the only part i liked was that it was pro-choice.
